Your code must start with the letter "B" and match your lock exactly, or the key will not work. This key is only compatible with Yamaha motorcycles, Scooters, and ATVs. Key location: Please look at the pictures for the code location. Stamped on the original OEM key. On a small tag that came on the original key. Stamped on the ignition housing or on a sticker on the ignition. (removal of the ignition will be necessary to find the code) The key you receive is an aftermarket key, not an OEM, and will be longer than your OEM key. It may also be a different brand with a different head shape than the key pictured. The key will not be stamped with the code.
